NDA Leaders Emphasize Transparency in NEET-UG Re-Exam Preparations

New Delhi, June 20: Political statements have emerged regarding the NEET (UG) re-examination and its preparations. Leaders at both the central and state levels have responded to the government’s measures and strictness concerning transparency and cheating prevention in the examination process.

BJP MP Pradeep Kumar Singh stated to reporters that making the examination system completely transparent and fair is a priority for the government. There should be no room for discrepancies or complaints in such a crucial examination as NEET. The government has taken several stringent steps to maintain the integrity of the examination process and ensure transparency, thereby preserving students’ trust.

Central Minister of State Raj Bhushan Chaudhary commented that under the Prime Minister’s leadership, the government is highly sensitive to the examination system. Continuous monitoring is being conducted to prevent incidents of cheating and paper leaks, with efforts to strengthen the arrangements.

Central Minister Bhupendra Yadav added that the Education Minister is closely monitoring the situation, and the government remains vigilant. He extended best wishes to the students appearing for the exam and assured that efforts to make the system more reliable are ongoing.

Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma described the nationwide mega mock drill organized by the NTA as a positive step. He emphasized that the hallmark of transparent governance is that examinations and their results are conducted fairly. He also noted that strict action would be taken against anyone found guilty of irregularities at any level.

It is noteworthy that to ensure the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam is entirely safe and transparent, the National Testing Agency (NTA) initiated a nationwide mock drill on Saturday. This special exercise aims to finalize preparations ahead of the re-examination scheduled for Sunday, June 21.

The mock drill commenced at 9 AM and will continue until late evening. According to officials, over 250,000 security personnel are participating in this exercise across examination centers nationwide. All designated examination centers have already been handed over to the NTA’s control.

To ensure fairness and security during the examination, a three-tier security system has been implemented at each center this time. The goal is to completely eliminate the possibility of any discrepancies, cheating, or paper leak incidents.

Under the security arrangements, paramilitary personnel will be responsible for the transportation, storage, and security of question papers and answer sheets. Additionally, continuous monitoring will be conducted via CCTV cameras at over 5,000 examination centers across the country. A significant number of security personnel have also been deployed.
