Patna, April 24: After the floor test in the Bihar Assembly, leaders from the ruling party launched a strong attack on the opposition. Several leaders expressed confidence in the stability and future of the government.
Former Bihar minister Ram Kripal Yadav congratulated Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, stating that he received unanimous support. He took a jab at opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav, suggesting that there is no need for concern, as he is unlikely to come to power for many years, and his role in the opposition may also be limited.
Meanwhile, former Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha thanked all legislators for their support to the NDA government. He emphasized that the NDA has previously governed the state and will continue to do so in the future. He highlighted the goal of “Developed India, Developed Bihar” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar.
BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi called this moment historic, noting that it is a matter of pride for the party to have a worker as Chief Minister. He stated that winning the confidence vote marks a significant milestone in state politics and will accelerate development initiatives. Responding to Tejashwi Yadav’s statements, he remarked that mere rhetoric achieves nothing, as the government possesses strong support and resources.
JDU state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha described the floor test as a formal procedure, asserting that it was predetermined that the government would secure a majority. He affirmed that Nitish Kumar’s governance and development model would be promoted.
On the other hand, ruling party leaders made sharp comments regarding Tejashwi Yadav. They criticized the RJD leadership, claiming that the opposition lacks solid issues and is limited to mere criticism. They noted that it was already known that the NDA held a full majority and that Samrat Chaudhary would become the Chief Minister. The opposition’s role has been reduced to misleading the public.
