Nationwide Job Fair Empowers Thousands of Youth with Employment Letters

Patna, May 23: The central government organized the 19th nationwide job fair on Saturday, aimed at connecting youth with employment opportunities and promoting a transparent recruitment process. This initiative saw employment letters distributed to selected candidates at 47 different locations across the country. Over 51,000 young individuals received job opportunities in various ministries and departments through this job fair.

The event held at the Kajri Auditorium in Jodhpur was graced by Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, as the chief guest. He handed out employment letters to 191 newly appointed candidates from various ministries and departments. Notably, the railway department accounted for the highest number of appointments with 153, followed by the postal department with 20, the financial services department with 16, and the defense department with 2 candidates. Among those appointed were 25 star candidates.

In Ajmer, another job fair distributed employment letters to 258 youth. A significant number of selected candidates and their families attended the event. The youth praised the central government’s initiative as a positive step in the employment sector.

In Bikaner, Union Minister of Law, Arjun Ram Meghwal, participated in the job fair. Speaking to reporters, he emphasized that the job fairs initiated in 2023 aim to ensure complete transparency in the recruitment process. He noted that while the government has always provided employment, the current process has been simplified and made corruption-free. The interview system for several positions has been eliminated, and self-attestation has been introduced, boosting the confidence of youth that they are securing jobs based on merit.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh also hailed the job fair as a historic initiative for youth. In an interview, he stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country is rapidly progressing, creating new employment opportunities for millions through schemes like Mudra, Startup, and Standup. He presented employment letters to 102 youth and wished all selected candidates a bright future.

Bihar government minister Ram Kripal Yadav expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for providing jobs to thousands through the job fairs. He noted that individuals are now receiving employment letters without any hassle.
