Modi Government: A Symbol of Trust for 1.4 Billion Indians, Says BJP Spokesperson

Nalanda, June 14: BJP spokesperson Prem Ranjan Patel highlighted the achievements of the Modi government as it marks 12 years in power. Key accomplishments include the construction of the Ram Temple, the abrogation of Article 370, anti-terrorism actions, and various welfare schemes.

During a media interaction in Nalanda, Patel stated that these twelve years have been dedicated to public trust and welfare. He emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s government has become a symbol of trust for 1.4 billion Indians. Notably, Modi surpassed former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s record of 3,998 days in office on June 10, establishing a new milestone.

Patel remarked that the construction of the Ram Temple was completed with broad consensus and without any conflict or opposition. Similarly, the repeal of Articles 370 and 35A, which had kept Jammu and Kashmir separate from the rest of India, was a significant achievement. He noted that Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee made the ultimate sacrifice for this cause, and Modi’s government has successfully integrated Jammu and Kashmir into India over the past twelve years.

Addressing terrorism, Patel mentioned that India has faced continuous threats from Pakistan-sponsored terrorist activities. The government responded with surgical strikes, teaching Pakistan a lesson. He asserted that under Modi’s leadership, the government has compelled Pakistan to reconsider its actions and exercise restraint.

Furthermore, Patel pointed out that Naxalism was once a major challenge for the country. Today, India has largely overcome the impact of Naxalism, making it difficult to identify districts still severely affected by it.
