India Emerges as a Tech Provider, Says PM Narendra Modi at Innovation Summit

Nice, June 14: India has transformed from a technology-adopting nation to a prominent tech provider over the past decade. This statement was made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. Speaking at the inauguration of the ‘India Innovates Summit‘ in Nice, France, PM Modi remarked, “A decade ago, the world viewed India primarily as a technology-adopting country, but today, India is rapidly emerging as a technology provider.”

He emphasized that innovations and solutions emerging from India have the potential to benefit a significant portion of humanity. The ‘India Innovates‘ initiative embodies this vision and serves as an invitation for the world to collaborate with India in shaping the next chapter of global innovation.

PM Modi further stated that innovation is embedded in India’s DNA. For thousands of years, India has guided the world with its discoveries and knowledge. From mathematics to astronomy, and medicine to yoga, India’s contributions have been foundational for all of humanity. Today, we are advancing this rich heritage and giving it new direction and momentum.

Highlighting humanity as India’s priority, PM Modi asserted that the country’s foremost focus is on technology that serves humanity. This principle has propelled our digital revolution and forms the foundation of India’s digital public infrastructure.

He concluded by sharing that our vision is based on the principle of “AI for All,” dedicated to the well-being and happiness of every individual.
