Ministers Arrive by E-Rickshaw for Cabinet Meeting Amid Energy Crisis

Bhopal, May 20: The ongoing conflict in West Asia has intensified the energy crisis in many countries around the world. To prevent such a situation in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to reduce their use of petrol and diesel.

Politicians across Madhya Pradesh are responding to the Prime Minister’s call. This was evident on Wednesday when the state’s Minister of Skill Development and Employment, Gautam Tetwal, and Minister of Fisheries and Welfare, Narayan Singh Pawar, arrived at the cabinet meeting using e-rickshaws.

Minister Tetwal emphasized that the Prime Minister’s appeal for the prudent use of resources should be embraced by all, inspiring others through their actions.

Both ministers urged the residents of the state to commit to reducing petrol and diesel consumption, promoting environmental protection, and turning energy conservation into a public movement. They stated that even small efforts from individuals will lay a strong foundation for a self-reliant, clean, and empowered India in the future.

Previously, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had also reduced the number of vehicles in his convoy. Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla have cut down on their accompanying vehicles. Notably, the state’s Energy Minister Pradyumna Singh Tomar was seen riding an e-scooter.
