Mumbai, August 19: Renowned mentalist Karan Singh has recently exited the web reality show ‘The Traitors-2’. In an exclusive interview with IANS, he shared his thoughts on the future of reality television, suggesting that it will only improve as artificial intelligence becomes more prevalent.
Karan stated, “The landscape of reality shows is set to enhance significantly. With AI on the rise, distinguishing between reality and fabrication has become challenging. However, the unique aspect of reality shows is their authenticity. They are not AI-generated, photoshopped, or fake.”
He emphasized that the essence of reality shows lies in their genuineness. “What you see is real, and I believe this genre will continue to grow. You may have noticed this trend over the past few years, and it will only expand further. I don’t think artists need to worry about reality shows,” he added.
Karan participated as a contestant in ‘The Traitors-2’ but faced early elimination in the initial weeks. His professional skills as a mentalist, which allow him to read people’s behaviors and actions, were perceived as a threat by other contestants, leading to his swift exit.
The show features 21 contestants from various fields, including entertainment, television, social media, and food. Notable participants include Munawar Faruqui, Mallika Sherawat, Shweta Tiwari, Kullu, Rhea Chakraborty, Abhishek Malhan, Shalini Basi, and Ranveer Brar.
Based on trust, deception, and strategy, contestants must identify hidden traitors to avoid elimination. The new season has already generated significant buzz, showcasing intense debates, unexpected eliminations, and shifting alliances. Viewers can expect even more thrilling strategies and a game where trust is a rare commodity.
