Recently, she met with Tamil Nadu weightlifter Raja Muthupandi, who won a silver medal in the men’s 65-kilogram category at the Commonwealth Games. During their meeting, Simran congratulated Raja on his remarkable achievement.
Simran praised Raja’s hard work and dedication, wishing him a bright future. She expressed her admiration for his commitment and encouraged him to continue striving for success.
Raja showcased his Commonwealth silver medal to Simran, who acknowledged his relentless efforts and determination. She told him that this victory is just the beginning and that he should aim for even greater accomplishments ahead.
Simran stated, “With this win, you have proudly elevated the name of India and Tamil Nadu. It is even more gratifying to see someone from our state achieve such a significant milestone on an international level. During their conversation, Simran also inquired about Raja’s hometown and family. When Raja mentioned he is from Kovilpatti, Simran shared some of her own memories related to the city.

On the work front, Simran is set to appear in a new film alongside actors Jayaram and Arya. Directed by S. Gautamraj, the film is produced by White Carpet Films and Redacted Studios, with shooting having commenced recently.
