Manoj Tiwari Supports Governments Efforts to Eradicate Naxalism

New Delhi, March 31: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has expressed his support for the statement made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the fight against Naxalism during a recent Lok Sabha session. He stated, “If the government is determined, nothing is impossible. Today, India is on its way to becoming Naxal-free. The Modi government has delivered on its promises.”

In a video posted on social media platform X, Tiwari highlighted that Amit Shah, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, had set a goal to eradicate Naxalism by March 31. He proudly noted that Naxalism is now nearly eliminated.

Tiwari emphasized the importance of listening to Amit Shah’s speech. He urged those who missed it to tune in today, as the information shared would send chills down their spine. He recounted how Naxalism, which began in a small village in West Bengal, spread across 14 states and caused significant losses to our armed forces.

He pointed out that many innocent lives have been lost due to Naxal violence, with estimates suggesting around 20,000 fatalities. However, he affirmed that Naxalism is now almost eradicated. While some individuals remain hidden, many Naxalites have surrendered and are undergoing rehabilitation. Those who resisted have been brought to justice, with approximately 700 Naxalites killed.

Tiwari recalled that previously, people in various parts of the country felt unsafe after 7 PM. They had to wait for buses and could not venture out alone. Areas like the routes from Dhanbad to Giridih were filled with fear. Now, everything has changed.

He remarked that Naxalism did not arise from a quest for the rights or justice of ordinary people. Instead, it stemmed from an ideology that believed power comes solely from the barrel of a gun. Today, India has overcome this challenge. With March 31, 2026, marking a significant milestone, our country is now secure and strong. This is a crucial day that every Indian should remember.
