Mamata Banerjee Set for Fourth Term as Chief Minister, Claims TMC Candidate Raj Chakraborty

Barrackpore, March 31: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidates are intensifying their efforts in their respective constituencies ahead of the West Bengal assembly elections. They assert that the next government will be formed under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee.

TMC candidate Raj Chakraborty has stated that Mamata Banerjee has successfully led the state three times, and the public has full confidence in her development initiatives. “This time, we are entering the elections with great strength, and we will ensure she becomes Chief Minister for the fourth time,” he declared.

In a conversation in Barrackpore, Chakraborty emphasized that their competition is not with any other party’s candidates but rather with themselves. “The public has previously given us a majority to govern, and we have accomplished much,” he noted.

He further mentioned, “We have done a lot, but there is still much work to be done. This time, we aim for a larger majority to re-elect Mamata Banerjee as Chief Minister. She is the only leader capable of directly confronting the BJP. The current issues of rising gas, petrol, and diesel prices are troubling the people.”

TMC candidate Rajiv Banerjee added that the BJP does not stay connected with the public and lacks concern for their welfare. “They are constantly fighting among themselves, whether in court or in offices. Let them focus on their work. Mamata Banerjee stands with the people, and we are with the people. That is why we will win the elections easily,” he asserted.

It is noteworthy that candidates from Congress, TMC, and BJP have entered the fray for the West Bengal elections. Voting will take place in two phases for the 294 assembly seats, with results expected to be announced on May 4.
