Patna, March 23: Rajiv Ranjan, the national spokesperson for the Janata Dal United (JD(U)), has launched a verbal attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Commenting on the Delhi police’s actions to remove Bangladeshis, Ranjan stated that it is a routine procedure. He emphasized that valid documentation is necessary to reside in any country, citing the United States’ expulsion of several individuals as an example.
Regarding the disqualification of 74 TMC legislators, Ranjan remarked, “Mamata Banerjee has confirmed our claims. We have consistently stated that her elected representatives are collaborating with the Bengal police and criminal gangs to harass the public. Many were so negligent that the failure of their plans was inevitable. Mamata Banerjee will not escape this; she will have to leave power.”
In response to Mamata’s threats, Ranjan asserted, “If Mamata Banerjee considers herself the embodiment of Bengal, she is mistaken. Bengal is the land of Tagore, Subhas Chandra Bose, and Aurobindo Ghosh. These figures have elevated India’s name with pride on the global stage.”
Ranjan further stated, “During her tenure, Mamata Banerjee has plunged West Bengal into a quagmire of unemployment. Industrialization has come to a complete halt. Development in Bengal has stagnated. Now, people are looking towards the BJP as an alternative. This time, the BJP will form the government.”
He added, “Whether it’s Humayun Kabir or Owaisi, the truth is that the poison sown by Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal politics has given rise to many who seek to spread that poison further. However, when a natural alternative exists, such corrupt elements will lose their significance, and their presence in these elections will not matter.”
