Bhopal, September 13 (Daily Kiran) : The Home Department of Madhya Pradesh has implemented a significant administrative reshuffle, resulting in the transfer of 10 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and 127 state police officers. These changes were announced on Sunday and will remain in effect until further notice.
Among the notable appointments, Manish Bhardwaj has been designated as the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Indore. Previously, he served as a Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Cyber Police Headquarters in Bhopal.
Alok Kumar Verma has been appointed as the City Superintendent of Police (CSP) for Rewa, moving from his former role as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Dewas.
Vaibhav Priya has been transferred from Ratlam to take on the responsibilities of Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) in Nepanagar, Burhanpur district. Meanwhile, Shubham Singh Thakur has been reassigned from Jabalpur to serve as the SDOP in Gadarwara, Narsinghpur district.
In another significant transfer, Manoj Kumar has moved from Gwalior to become the ACP of MP Nagar in Bhopal.
Additional key transfers include Lekhraj Meena, who will be the SDOP for Sailana in Ratlam, and Kajal Singh, who will now serve as the SDOP for Khurai in Sagar district, having previously been stationed in Ujjain. Rajiv Agarwal has been appointed as the SDOP for Kukshi in Dhar district after his transfer from Rewa.
Dipanashu has also been reassigned from Sagar to take charge as the SDOP in Manawar, Dhar district, while Amit Kumar will now serve as the SDOP in Singrauli after moving from Khandwa.
The reshuffle includes four IPS officers from the 2023 batch and six from the 2024 batch. In addition to the IPS transfers, 127 state police officers, including those at the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police and equivalent positions, have been assigned new responsibilities across various districts.
These officers have been appointed to various roles such as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDOP), City Superintendent of Police (CSP), Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), and Assistant Commandant.
Officials have stated that this reshuffle is part of a routine administrative process aimed at strengthening law and order in the state and enhancing the efficiency of the police department. All transferred officers have been instructed to assume their new positions promptly.
