
Bhopal, March 24: Efforts are underway to enhance healthcare services in Madhya Pradesh. The state’s Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister, Rajendra Shukla, has directed the swift recruitment of personnel to improve health resources within the department.
During a review meeting at the Ministry of Public Health and Medical Education, Shukla provided essential guidelines. He discussed the progress of departmental recruitment processes in detail and instructed that all pending appointments be completed within the stipulated timeframe. This aims to quickly address the shortage of human resources in health services.
Shukla emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous communication and coordination with the Employee Selection Board (ESB) and the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (PSC) to prevent any unnecessary delays in the recruitment process. He also urged for the timely completion of all necessary administrative and technical formalities.
Regarding the recruitment of hospital assistants, Shukla instructed that proposals be sent to the Employee Selection Board promptly. He noted that the positions of hospital assistants are crucial for the smooth operation of health institutions and should not be delayed.
The recruitment process for nursing teachers in medical colleges and the health department was also reviewed. Shukla directed that actions be taken promptly on a priority basis, stating that trained and qualified nursing staff play a vital role in the quality of health services. He instructed planned and phased actions to ensure the availability of modern and advanced medical equipment in the state’s health institutions.
Present at the meeting were Commissioner of Public Health and Medical Education Dhanraju S. and Additional Director Manoj Kumar Sariyam. Currently, there are numerous vacancies for paramedical staff alongside doctors in the state’s government hospitals, and the recruitment process has not been progressing swiftly. Consequently, the government is making continuous efforts to expedite the recruitment process to expand health services.
