Madhya Pradesh Government Initiates Survey Following Hailstorm and Rain Damage

Bhopal, February 19: Unseasonal rain and hailstorms have caused significant damage to crops in Madhya Pradesh. The state’s Minister of Farmers’ Welfare and Agricultural Development, Edal Singh Kansana, has directed officials to conduct a survey of the affected areas.

Minister Kansana emphasized the government’s commitment to safeguarding farmers’ interests. He assured that the government stands firmly with farmers in all circumstances. Efforts will be made to provide relief funds for the losses incurred due to recent rainfall and hailstorms across various regions of the state.

He stated that immediate investigations have been ordered in districts where rainfall and hail events have occurred. Officials have been instructed to complete the survey transparently and sensitively, ensuring timely disbursement of relief funds to affected farmers.

Kansana reassured farmers that no one would be left to face losses alone. The state government will provide all possible assistance. He urged farmers to remain patient and cooperate with local administration. The government’s priority is to provide swift relief to strengthen the economic condition of farmers. The state government is continuously working for farmers’ welfare and will take all necessary steps in the future.
