
Bhopal, September 1: The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, announced the transfer of ₹304 crore to 121,000 talented students under the Laptop Incentive Scheme on Tuesday. Students who scored over 75% will receive ₹25,000 each. Many students expressed gratitude, stating that this financial support will significantly aid their further studies, online learning, and preparation for competitive exams.
One student shared, “I scored 98% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the 12th grade. I am very thankful to the government. My parents, teachers, and God have all supported me to reach this point. This assistance is immensely beneficial. The merit scheme reduces our college fees. I need a laptop to continue my studies, as I aspire to become a doctor.”
Shlok Prajapati mentioned that the event organized by the Chief Minister and the School Education Department allowed students with over 75% to receive ₹25,000 directly in their accounts with just one click. He is pursuing a Mathematics group (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and aims to become a computer science engineer. He has also cleared the JEE Mains.
Tulsi Rajawat stated, “I achieved 98% in my Agriculture faculty and secured the first position. The ₹25,000 scheme has been incredibly helpful for me. Additionally, I received a laptop for my further studies. I express my gratitude to CM Mohan Yadav. The facilities in government schools are excellent. They not only provide us with books but also the best teachers who solve all our problems. The government scheme has reduced our college fees, which is very helpful for families like mine. In the future, I aspire to become an agricultural scientist and assist farmers in every way possible.”
Kirti Paliwal shared, “Meeting the Chief Minister was my first experience and a very special moment that is hard to put into words. In today’s world, having a laptop is crucial. The initiatives taken by the government are extremely beneficial for students.”
Kartik Sharma expressed, “This will greatly assist my further studies. It will play a significant role in online learning. With ₹25,000, we can enroll in quality courses. A good laptop will help me study effectively. I am preparing for NEET-UG, and I will purchase a good device to aid in my exam preparation.”
Himanshi Pathak added, “Laptops have become essential today. Without one, you cannot perform technical tasks. The government has done a commendable job. Meeting the Chief Minister was a dream come true for me. I feel like I have achieved something significant to be here today. I have learned that no matter how successful you become, you should always remain humble.”
