Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Blames Congress for Public Transport Shutdown

Bhopal, June 2: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has launched a strong attack on the Congress party. He accused them of shutting down public transport services in the state. The Yadav government is set to introduce a new transportation initiative, which will see the resumption of public bus services across various regions.

CM Yadav held Congress responsible for the cessation of the previously operational public bus services. He stated that during their tenure, Congress halted public transport services. In contrast, his government is rapidly constructing better and modern roads and will soon provide citizens with special benefits from state transport services.

He emphasized that his administration is fully committed to expanding public amenities and ensuring the overall development of the state. In line with efforts to restart public transport services, a meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Passenger Transport and Infrastructure Limited’s board was held under CM Yadav’s leadership on Monday.

During the meeting, Managing Director Manish Singh presented information regarding urban transport companies across seven regions of Madhya Pradesh: Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Sagar, Gwalior, and Rewa.

It was announced that the PM e-bus service and the Chief Minister‘s easy transport service will first launch operations in the Indore region. This will include all districts in the Indore division, with the Atal Indore City Transport Service Limited overseeing the bus operations. The launch of three categories of buses under the Chief Minister’s easy transport service is proposed to begin in July.
