Madrid, August 2: Spanish club Levante has swiftly acted to strengthen its attack following striker Carlos Aspi’s transfer to Real Madrid. The club has announced the signing of promising Belgian forward Yanis Musuai on a five-year contract from Club Brugge.
The 19-year-old player has signed a transfer deal worth approximately three million euros, valid until June 2030. He is expected to compete with Cameroonian international Eta Eyoung for a spot in the starting lineup under Portuguese coach Luis Castro.
Musuai arrives after a stellar performance with Club NXT, the reserve team of Club Brugge, in Belgium’s Challenger Pro League. He played 44 matches in the country’s second division, scoring seven goals, and also excelled in the UEFA Youth League, netting six goals in ten matches.
Levante confirmed the transfer in an official statement, indicating that the Belgian forward will join the team to work under Castro’s guidance in the coming days.
This young talent progressed through the youth systems of AFC Tubize, FCV Dender, KAA Gent, KSC Lokeren, and KMSK Deinze. He made his professional debut for Deinze in 2024 and later moved to Club Brugge, where he honed his skills with Club NXT.
Due to his impressive performances, Musuai represented Belgium at the under-18 and under-19 levels, establishing himself as one of the country’s emerging attacking players. Levante has signed him to replace their domestic striker Aspi.
Musuai is now expected to play a crucial role in reshaping Levante’s attack ahead of the new La Liga season, as the Valencia-based club aims to continue its successful fight against relegation from last year.
