Assam Chief Minister Sarma Pays Tribute to Brave Soldiers in Shillong

Shillong, August 29: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the Assam Regiment War Memorial in Shillong on Saturday to honor the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.

Sarma remembered the fallen soldiers and praised their courage, dedication, and commitment to the country. He stated that their sacrifices will continue to inspire future generations to serve the nation.

In a post, the Chief Minister expressed, “I humbly pay my tribute to the heroes who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation. Their courage and sacrifice will inspire future generations to serve Mother India with complete dedication. Jai Hind.”

During his visit to the Assam Regimental Centre, Sarma interacted with armed forces personnel and observed their daily lives and training environment. He remarked that he gained a direct insight into the lives of those committed to defending the nation and facing the challenges of duty.
