New Delhi, August 4: The first Mangala Gauri Vrat falls on the sixth day of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Shravan, which is celebrated on a Tuesday. This day is particularly auspicious for worshipping Goddess Gauri (Parvati) and Lord Shiva. Married women observe this fast for the well-being and happiness of their marital lives. On this sacred occasion, several leaders, including Delhi’s Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, have extended their greetings.
Delhi’s Chief Minister shared a message on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “Wishing everyone heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasion of the first Mangala Gauri Vrat in the holy month of Shravan. May the blessings of Mother Mangala Gauri bring happiness, peace, prosperity, and auspiciousness to every home. May her blessings illuminate everyone’s life with joy, fortune, and new energy.”
Dr. Monica Pant, the Deputy Mayor of Anand Vihar and a BJP leader, also posted on ‘X’, echoing similar sentiments: “Wishing everyone heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasion of the first Mangala Gauri Vrat. May the blessings of Mother Mangala Gauri bring happiness, peace, prosperity, and auspiciousness to every home. May her blessings illuminate everyone’s life with joy, fortune, and new energy.”
BJP Rajya Sabha MP Lakshmi Verma conveyed her wishes on ‘X’, saying, “Heartfelt greetings to all on the sacred Mangala Gauri Vrat. May Goddess Gauri’s grace always be upon you.”
Gopal Sharma, an MLA from Civil Lines in Jaipur, shared a message on ‘X’, stating, “Om Sarva Mangala Mangalye, Shive Sarvaartha Saadhike. Sharanaye Tryambake Gauri Narayani Namostute.” He further extended heartfelt wishes to all mothers on the occasion of the first Mangala Gauri Vrat in the holy month of Shravan, hoping that Goddess Parvati’s blessings remain with their families always.
Satyendra Sharma, the BJP district vice president from Gwalior, also posted on ‘X’, wishing everyone well on this auspicious occasion and echoing the blessings of Mother Mangala Gauri for happiness, peace, prosperity, and auspiciousness in every household.
