Greater Noida, August 4: A significant initiative is underway in Uttar Pradesh to elevate the digital and creative industries. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has commenced plans to develop a state-of-the-art AVGC XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality) Park near the Noida International Airport (Jewar) and the proposed International Film City.
This project is seen as a major step towards establishing the state as a global hub for animation, visual effects, gaming, comics, and immersive technology. The proposed AVGC XR Park will be equipped with cutting-edge technologies and world-class facilities, providing a collaborative workspace for companies, startups, and creative professionals from both India and abroad.
The park will feature modern amenities, including animation studios, visual effects studios, game development and design centers, motion capture studios, and virtual production facilities. Additionally, it will incorporate AI-based content creation centers, as well as extended reality, virtual reality, and augmented reality labs.
Through a Digital Media and Immersive Content Development Center, the initiative aims to promote the next generation of digital content industries. This will enhance the application of modern technologies across various sectors, including entertainment, education, health, defense, tourism, and industrial training.
Experts believe that the establishment of this park near Jewar International Airport and the International Film City will significantly attract investors and global companies. Improved connectivity, modern infrastructure, and synergy with the film city could position this project among the country’s most ambitious digital media endeavors.
