
New Delhi, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : September 8 marked International Literacy Day, with various leaders across India, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, extending their greetings.
In a post on the social media platform X, Adityanath expressed, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the citizens of the state on International Literacy Day. Literacy is not just about reading and writing; it empowers individuals and opens doors to new opportunities. Let us all commit to spreading the light of education to every corner of society.”
Bihar’s Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary also took to X, stating, “Knowledge and education are the foundation of a strong and prosperous society. Let us pledge to understand the importance of literacy and ensure that education reaches every individual. Best wishes to the citizens on this day.”
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami shared his thoughts on social media, saying, “Warm wishes to all citizens on International Literacy Day. Education is the lamp of knowledge that dispels the darkness of ignorance in every life. Our collective efforts have made Uttarakhand a fully literate state, and we will continue to ensure that the light of education reaches every citizen, along with opportunities for quality education and skill development.”
Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini also posted, “On this occasion of International Literacy Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all citizens. Literacy is not just the light of knowledge; it is the foundation of self-reliance, awareness, and a strong society. Let us pledge to spread the light of education and literacy to every section of society, contributing to the creation of an educated, empowered, and developed India.”
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized in his message, “Education is not merely about reading and writing; it is the first step towards empowerment and self-reliance. On this International Literacy Day, let us unite to eliminate the darkness of illiteracy from society and ensure that knowledge reaches every citizen.”
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya remarked, “Warm wishes to all citizens on International Literacy Day! Literacy is a divine tool that liberates individuals from social inequality and ignorance. When the light of knowledge shines in every home, the dream of a prosperous and developed India will be realized. Bihar government minister Vijay Kumar Sinha noted, “An educated society lays the foundation for a strong nation and a bright future.
