
New Delhi, August 13: A significant opportunity is about to slip away for job seekers. The Delhi Cantonment Board has issued an official notification inviting applications for various positions, including Assistant Engineer.
The nine vacancies announced by the DCB include 2 Assistant Engineer (Civil), 1 Assistant Engineer (Mechanical), 5 Junior Engineer (Civil), and 1 Junior Engineer (Electrical) positions.
The online application process commenced on July 15, and the deadline for submissions is set for August 14. Candidates who have not yet filled out their application forms are advised to complete their registration on the official Delhi Cantonment Board website by the deadline.
Applicants must possess a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/board/institution, or a three-year diploma in the relevant field.
The minimum age for applicants is 21 years, while the maximum age is capped at 30 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), shortlisting, document verification, and a medical fitness test. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 for Assistant Engineer positions and ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 for Junior Engineer roles. Additional benefits and allowances will also be provided.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹850 for General/OBC/EWS applicants. Women, SC/ST candidates, persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), widows, divorced women, and those legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried, as well as ex-servicemen, transgender individuals, and departmental candidates, are exempt from the registration fee.
