New Delhi, June 1: The sacred month of Purushottam, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is currently underway. On June 2 (Tuesday), the second day of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Jyeshtha will be observed. This month is particularly significant for the worship of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.

During Purushottam month, the recitation of Vishnu Sahasranama, listening to the stories of Lord Hari, and performing charitable deeds hold special importance. Additionally, donating Malpua (a type of sweet) is considered auspicious during this month. It is believed that this extra month is an excellent opportunity to receive the blessings of Lord Vishnu.

According to the Drik Panchang, both Abhijit Muhurat and Vijay Muhurat will be available on this day, making it highly favorable for auspicious activities. On Tuesday, sunrise will occur at 5:23 AM, and sunset will be at 7:15 PM. The moon will rise at 9:19 PM and set the following day (June 3) at 6:26 AM.

The second day will last until 7:01 PM, after which the third day will commence. The Mool Nakshatra will prevail until 10:06 PM, followed by the Purva Ashadha Nakshatra. The Sadhya Yoga will be in effect until 7:16 AM, and the Karan Taitil will last until 5:49 AM.

Regarding the auspicious timings on June 2, Brahma Muhurat will be from 4:02 AM to 4:43 AM, Pratah Sandhya from 4:23 AM to 5:23 AM, Abhijit Muhurat from 11:52 AM to 12:47 PM, and Vijay Muhurat from 2:38 PM to 3:33 PM. Additionally, the Godhuli Muhurat will be from 7:14 PM to 7:34 PM, Amrit Kaal from 2:55 PM to 4:43 PM, and Nishita Muhurat from 11:59 PM to 12:39 AM.

Conversely, the inauspicious times include Rahu Kaal from 3:47 PM to 5:31 PM, Yamgand from 8:51 AM to 10:35 AM, Gulika Kaal from 12:19 PM to 2:03 PM, Durmuhurt from 8:10 AM to 9:05 AM, Adal Yoga from 5:23 AM to 10:06 PM, and Vratya time from 8:18 PM to 10:06 PM, along with another period from 11:18 PM to 11:59 PM.
