Joey Quinn Commits to Oklahoma State for 2026 Season

La Grange Park, February 4: Three-star EDGE prospect Joey Quinn from Mount Carmel High School in Illinois has officially committed to Oklahoma State. The announcement came on Tuesday evening, just before National Signing Day.

Previously committed to Vanderbilt, Quinn reopened his recruitment in October and has now chosen to join the Cowboys.

Standing at 6 feet 6 inches and weighing 250 pounds, Quinn is ranked as the No. 101 EDGE and the No. 31 player in Illinois for the 2026 recruiting cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. He holds an overall ranking of No. 1,115.

Quinn hails from a prestigious high school football program. In 2025, Mount Carmel achieved an impressive undefeated record of 15-0, finishing as the top team in Illinois and ranked No. 26 nationally, according to the Rivals Composite Rankings.

His commitment marks the 21st high school pledge for Oklahoma State in the 2026 cycle, under the guidance of new head coach Eric Morris. This follows a significant reorganization of the incoming class after the midseason dismissal of longtime head coach Mike Gundy.
