Ranchi, April 15: The Jharkhand Home Defense Corps has announced a recruitment drive for a total of 772 Home Guard positions. The online application process began on March 30 and will close on April 30. Candidates looking for government jobs can fill out their application forms on the official website within this timeframe.
The 772 positions include 634 for rural Home Guards and 138 for urban Home Guards. Applicants for the rural Home Guard positions must have completed at least the 7th grade from a recognized institution or board, while those applying for urban Home Guard positions must have passed the 10th grade.
Candidates must be between 19 and 40 years old, with age calculated as of January 1.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on several criteria, including a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Hindi Writing Ability Test (WAT), Technical Proficiency Test (TPT), document verification, medical examination, and basic training.
When filling out the application form, all candidates must pay a prescribed application fee of ₹200 online. Please note that the application will only be accepted after the fee payment is completed.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official JAP-IT website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, submit the form. Finally, print a copy of the application for future reference.
