CBSE Class 10 Results: KV Tops, 99.10% Pass Rate for Students Abroad, 97.45% in Delhi Region

New Delhi, April 15: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 results for the year 2026. Students from the Delhi region have outperformed the national average in these examination results.

In the East Delhi region, a total of 211,121 students registered, with 210,238 participating in the exams. Out of these, 204,628 students were declared successful, resulting in a pass percentage of 97.33%. Meanwhile, in the West Delhi region, 135,768 students registered, 134,989 took the exams, and 131,548 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 97.45%, slightly higher than East Delhi.

Overall, the performance in the Delhi region has been impressive. Out of 346,889 students, 345,227 appeared for the exams, and 336,176 were successful. This gives the entire Delhi region a total pass percentage of 97.38%, which is better than the national average. Alongside the CBSE exam results, detailed data on student performance based on various regions, genders, and school types has also been released, providing a clear picture of student achievements both domestically and internationally.

Schools affiliated with CBSE located abroad also showed remarkable results. In 2026, 30,745 students registered, with 30,665 participating and 30,389 passing, leading to an overall pass percentage of 99.10%, an improvement from last year’s 98.57%.

Gender-based results revealed interesting trends. In 2026, the pass percentage for female students was 94.99%, nearly equal to last year’s 95.00%. Male students recorded a pass percentage of 92.69%, slightly up from 92.63% the previous year.

Transgender students had a pass percentage of 87.50%, which is lower than last year’s 95.00%. Among institutions, Kendriya Vidyalayas achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.57%, followed closely by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas at 99.42%. The pass percentage for STSS schools was 97.42%, while independent schools recorded 93.77%. Government schools had a pass percentage of 91.43%, and government-aided schools achieved 91.01%.

Educators suggest that the 2026 results not only reflect improved academic performance but also indicate balanced progress across various regions and institutions.
