
Mumbai, June 4: Actress Janhvi Kapoor’s highly anticipated South Indian film ‘Peddhi’ was released in theaters on Thursday. To mark this special occasion, she visited the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh to seek blessings from the deity.
At the temple, Janhvi prayed with devotion and bowed her head before the idol, wishing for the film’s success. She was seen in a traditional attire, showcasing her cultural roots.
Notably, Janhvi arrived at the temple barefoot. After her prayers, she paused at the entrance, bowing her head once more in reverence before leaving.
Dressed in a deep purple silk saree adorned with beautiful floral designs, she completed her look with a gold waistband, choker necklace, earrings, and traditional bangles.
Janhvi frequently visits the Tirupati Balaji Temple. She makes it a point to seek blessings on her birthday each year and also visits to honor her late mother, Sridevi, on her birthday.
Regarding her film ‘Peddhi,’ it is a sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film stars Janhvi alongside South Indian superstar Ram Charan. Other notable actors include Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapati Babu, and Divyendu in significant roles.
The story revolves around a young man striving to make his mark through sports. He faces various challenges, rivalries, and societal pressures while showcasing his talents in competitions like cricket, wrestling, and running. Ram Charan plays a versatile athlete in this inspiring narrative.
