Mansi Parekh Completes Spiritual Journey to Kailash, Shares Unforgettable Experience

Mumbai, August 29: Actress Mansi Parekh recently completed a spiritual journey to Kailash. On Saturday, she shared glimpses of her adventure, describing it as one of her most special experiences to date.

The actress posted highlights of her journey on Instagram, recalling her 20-kilometer trek at high altitude, facing rain, and ultimately riding a horse for the final stretch.

In a video, Mansi Parekh expressed, “In this cold weather, I woke up at 5 AM without an alarm because I was very excited. Applying castor oil in my nose at high altitude is essential; otherwise, I risk nosebleeds. Makeup doesn’t work in the mountains; only one thing matters: plenty of sunscreen.”

She mentioned that she had a hearty breakfast, as climbing the mountains required carrying her backpack as well. “After breakfast, we headed towards the bus, and suddenly, we noticed the weather was turning bad. It looked like it was going to rain,” she added.

Describing the journey, she said, “We start our trek from Yamdwar. Symbolically, it means leaving behind all your complaints and troubles, moving towards your new spiritual self. According to the Tibetan calendar, this year is the Year of the Horse, which means that undertaking the Kailash journey this year is equivalent to making the journey 13 times.”

She continued, “The Year of the Horse signifies dedication, transformation, and merging, and I believe this journey embodies that and so much more. As we ascend, the beautiful views continue to unfold.”

Mansi also shared that she brought quick snacks like dry fruits packed by her mother. She expressed her joy at witnessing the stunning mountain scenery, saying, “Seeing the beautiful views of the mountains made me very happy, and suddenly, I caught a glimpse of the eastern face of Kailash, which was even more beautiful. After seeing the eastern face, I felt a sense of peace; everything felt meaningful. That’s why I decided to ride the last kilometer on horseback with my Sherpa.”

The actress concluded that the Kailash journey is one of her most cherished experiences. She posted a video stating, “According to Tibetan culture, traveling to Kailash in the Year of the Horse is equivalent to making the journey 13 times! What a special year and what a remarkable journey that will forever reside in my heart.”
