New Delhi, March 21: Good news for those seeking employment at one of the country’s premier central universities, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). The university has officially announced recruitment for 42 positions, including professors.

Among the 42 positions available, there are 8 for professors, 12 for associate professors, and 22 for assistant professors. Applicants must hold a master’s degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized institution, along with a PhD, NET/SLET/SET qualifications, research publications, and teaching/research experience. Additional eligibility criteria must also be met.
Candidates will be selected based on shortlisting, interviews, and document verification. The salary for selected candidates will range from ₹57,700 to ₹2,18,200 per month, depending on the position.
