Mumbai, March 21: The political rhetoric surrounding the ongoing conflict in the Middle East has intensified. On Saturday, Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Nirupam accused the Congress party of spreading rumors regarding gas supply in the country.
Nirupam stated, “Since the war began in Central Asia, missile attacks have been occurring between Iran and Israel. Given the nature of Iran’s attacks on Gulf countries, it is certain that gas and oil supplies will be affected. However, the way Congress has created panic by instilling fear in the atmosphere of war is extremely dangerous and conspiratorial.”
He urged all citizens to trust their country and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “During such times, he maintains direct contact with leaders from around the world. His strength ensures that he will never leave his people alone in such circumstances and will always stand by them.”
Nirupam addressed concerns regarding LPG shortages, saying, “When it was claimed that there would be a shortage of LPG, panic booking ensued. The truth is, there is no shortage of LPG. The entire production and supply of domestic gas is intact. Those in need are receiving it. Thanks to government efforts, panic booking has ceased, and citizens are getting domestic gas as per their requirements.”
Regarding the release of the film ‘Dhurandhar 2,’ he remarked, “It is an excellent film. The story, screenplay, and presentation are all top-notch. However, pro-Pakistan individuals are repeatedly trying to label it as a propaganda film. Critics mention demonetization, but it is referenced only two or three times in the film. They are objecting to the portrayal of gangster Atiq Ahmed.”
Nirupam acknowledged, “Atiq Ahmed was a major mafia figure in Uttar Pradesh and a close associate of Dawood Ibrahim, involved in various criminal activities. People are objecting to the depiction of his death, even though it was a real event. Films based on such true events should be made and shown so that future generations can discern truth from falsehood.”
