Hyderabad, August 17: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced a recruitment notification for various temporary research positions at the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC). A total of 48 vacancies have been declared, with the application deadline set for August 21.
Among the 48 positions available, there are 14 for Research Scientists, 3 for Project Associate-I, 2 for Project Associate-II, 8 for Project Scientist-B, 2 for Project Scientist-I, and 19 for Junior Research Fellows (JRF).
The online application process commenced on August 1 and will close on August 21 at 5 PM. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the official NRSC portal before the deadline.
Applicants must hold relevant degrees such as BE/BTech, ME/MTech, BSc, MSc/MSc Tech, graduation, or post-graduation from a recognized institution or university, depending on the position applied for.
The maximum age limit for applicants ranges from 28 to 35 years, determined based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection will be based on screening and interviews, with monthly salaries ranging from ₹37,000 to ₹56,100, depending on the position. Additional benefits and allowances will also be provided.
All candidates must pay an application fee of ₹250 online. However, women, SC/ST/PWD, and ex-servicemen candidates will have their application fees refunded, provided they meet eligibility criteria and participate in the selection process.
