Guwahati, June 14: Flying Officer K. Neeraj Chandra Singha from Assam has turned his childhood dream of serving the nation into reality through hard work, discipline, and determination. On June 13, he was commissioned into the Meteorology branch of the Indian Air Force during the Combined Graduation Parade held at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal.

Born and raised in Assam, K. Neeraj Chandra Singha always aspired to serve the country in uniform. His journey is seen as a remarkable example of willpower, discipline, and self-confidence.

As an alumnus of Sainik School Golpara, Singha credits the institution for shaping his personality. It instilled in him values of discipline, leadership, patience, patriotism, and the spirit to face challenges. Inspired by senior cadets and alumni serving in the armed forces, he resolved to join the military himself.

To achieve his goals, he worked tirelessly. He completed his B.Tech to enhance his professional skills while also guiding other aspiring youths who dream of serving the nation.

Throughout his journey, he faced numerous challenges and uncertainties but never gave up. With patience, dedication, and continuous effort, he overcame every obstacle and emerged stronger.

His years of hard work and commitment paid off when he was selected for the Meteorology branch of the Indian Air Force. Today, as a commissioned officer, he attributes his success to the unwavering support of his parents, the values instilled in him at Sainik School Golpara, and his faith in God.
