New Delhi, February 17: India’s leading tech giant, Infosys, announced a partnership with the American AI company, Anthropic, on Tuesday. Together, they aim to develop and deliver advanced enterprise AI solutions across software, manufacturing, financial services, and telecommunications sectors.

Infosys stated that under this partnership, its Topaz platform will integrate with Anthropic’s Cloudé model (including Cloudé code), enabling automation of complex workflows, accelerating software delivery, and creating agentic AI solutions across various industries.

The collaboration will initially focus on the telecommunications sector, establishing a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence. This center will build and deploy AI agents tailored to industry-specific tasks. The partnership is also expected to expand into financial services, manufacturing, and software development.

In the services sector, AI agents will help identify risks and automate compliance reporting, while also establishing personalized interactions with customers.

In manufacturing and engineering, the Cloudé product will expedite design and simulation processes, reducing research and development time and allowing engineers to test multiple versions before production.

The company noted that in software development, teams will utilize Cloudé code for writing, testing, and addressing existing flaws, enabling developers to complete the design-to-production process more swiftly.

Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys, stated, “From modernizing financial services with intelligence risk management and compliance to strengthening engineering businesses with AI-driven design and manufacturing, our goal is to leverage the combined expertise of both companies to accelerate AI value realization for global enterprises.”

Dario Amodei, CEO and co-founder of Anthropic, emphasized, “There is a significant difference between AI models working in demos and those operating in regulated industries. To bridge that gap, domain expertise is essential. Infosys possesses the necessary expertise in critical industries like telecommunications, financial services, and manufacturing.”
