India Innovates: Showcasing the Next Generation of Innovation on a Global Stage

New Delhi, June 12: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the ‘India Innovates‘ program will showcase India’s new generation of innovations, startups, and inventions on a global platform starting June 14 in France. He described this event as a significant international recognition of the talents of India’s youth.

During an event in Delhi, Pradhan revealed that the inauguration of ‘India Innovates’ will take place on June 14, with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron. The program will highlight innovations developed by young Indian entrepreneurs that align with global needs.

Pradhan emphasized that this is a major endorsement of the capabilities of India’s youth. He noted that the Ministry of Education has transformed Prime Minister Modi’s visionary suggestions into actionable plans. After a rigorous evaluation of thousands of proposals, 120 startups have been selected for participation.

These startups include partnerships from over 20 prestigious educational institutions in India. The event, running from June 14 to 16, will also see participation from several major global companies, financial institutions, and esteemed intellectual experts from various sectors.

The minister stated that during the three-day event, several important Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) will be signed. Additionally, dialogues and business-to-business (B2B) meetings will be organized to promote institutional collaboration.

Pradhan mentioned that the innovations developed by India’s youth will be presented to the world by Prime Minister Modi himself. He extended his best wishes to all innovators and expressed gratitude to Modi for making this program possible through his vision.

He concluded by stating that the success of this event is directly linked to India’s success.
