Lucknow, May 23: Political discussions surrounding the rise in petrol and diesel prices have intensified. Uttar Pradesh government minister Anil Rajbhar stated on Saturday that amid global tensions, India is the country that has increased fuel prices the least and the latest.
Rajbhar remarked, “Since the onset of the war crisis, India has been the country that has raised diesel and petrol prices the least and the latest. Look at the developed countries in Europe and even the United States to see when and how much they have increased fuel prices. PM Modi’s government is hardworking and is doing its best for India’s interests. Even with the recent price hikes, I assert that India has the lowest increases in fuel prices globally. I believe that things will soon come under control and the situation will normalize.”
In response to alleged inappropriate comments made against PM Modi, UP Congress President Ajay Rai stated, “A few days ago, the national president of Congress made certain remarks, and now the state president has crossed all limits. Yesterday marked a dark day for India’s democracy. Society can never accept such language. The public will respond.”
Regarding the arrest of the main accused in the NEET case, he said, “The country’s most prestigious agency has been assigned this task. It is our responsibility to ensure that the youth do not lose trust. The CBI is working effectively and on the right path. Such activities will cease permanently, and those engaging in illegal actions will be brought to justice.”
Rajbhar supported Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s stance against allowing prayers on the streets. He stated, “I welcome the decision made by the Uttarakhand government. They must be accurately assessing the social conditions there. I support the government’s steps to curb such activities that seek to create disturbances.”
Referring to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari’s comments on infiltrators, Rajbhar added, “This is why the government received a mandate. Infiltrators are depriving the poor, farmers, and youth of their rights and pose a threat to national security. What other option is left but to expel such individuals from the country? The Bengal government is working in the right direction. The land allocated to the Ministry of Defence at Chicken Neck deserves commendation.”
