A newly constructed multipurpose hall at the Government Upper Primary School in the rural area of Dedro Ki Dhani, Bhensda Khurd Panchayat, was inaugurated and handed over to the school administration by Hindustan Zinc, Zinc Smelter Debari. The hall is designed to serve several purposes, including as a prayer room, space for extracurricular activities, cultural events, and various developmental programmes. This important addition to the school’s infrastructure will benefit over 100 students and community members.
This initiative is especially valuable for the rural region of Dedro Ki Dhani, as it promotes better access to educational and developmental opportunities. In recognition of this effort, a Bhamashah Certificate was presented as a letter of appreciation.
During the event, students presented various cultural programmes. Villagers and representatives present at the event praised the efforts of Zinc Smelter Debari in the area, mentioning that the multipurpose hall will ensure convenience and continuity in the school’s educational activities.
On this occasion, senior management Operations Head Mukesh Kumar from Zinc Smelter Debari, Principal Chetan Prakash Jain of Dedro Ki Dhani, Village Development Officer Sanjay Sen, school management committee members, the CSR team, and members of the community were present. Previously, more than 1,000 community members have benefitted from the community hall developed by Hindustan Zinc in Kaliwas.
