Mumbai, August 25: The breakup between Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz has reignited discussions about their past relationship. Recently, both have shared their perspectives on the controversies surrounding their romance. The issue initially stemmed from religious differences and has escalated to Himanshi’s claims of having evidence to support her statements.
On Tuesday morning, Himanshi posted several photos on social media, including one that caught attention. The image featured a message on a wall stating, “Sorry, I’m not low maintenance,” implying that she does not wish to be treated as less important.
In her Instagram post, she included a white heart emoji in the caption. Fans are interpreting this post as a response to her ongoing dispute with Asim Riaz.
The controversy resurfaced after Himanshi discussed her past relationship and religious disagreements during a podcast with Paras Chhabra. Asim reacted to her comments, stating, “I never asked anyone to change their religion. Not once. In fact, I was the one who guided you towards fitness. Everyone knows how you looked before meeting me. So, don’t weaponize religion. It’s a sensitive topic. Using personal matters to incite hatred against me is foolishness and shows how low you can go for attention.”
In response to Asim’s statement, Himanshi took to social media to provide a lengthy reply. She emphasized, “I have always spoken honestly about my personal life, whether it’s my Bigg Boss experience, my spiritual journey, or health issues. I’ve never used my story to belittle or defame anyone.”
Himanshi clarified that she never claimed to have undergone forced religious conversion. She stated, “I never said there was a forced conversion. This narrative was created by people and the media. However, when my health is mocked and my struggles are questioned, I feel it’s time to set my boundaries.”
She continued, “If we are discussing evidence, let’s talk about the facts. I am prepared to present evidence related to the conversion issue, including CCTV footage and recordings. I hope you remember the events of November 27, 2023. I can also present evidence of the violence I faced. If you want to tarnish my image, I will no longer hide the truth to protect yours. If I continue to be disrespected, I will not remain silent.”
Himanshi asserted, “Various production houses and channels have concealed your actions, but I will not do that anymore. I have always maintained my dignity and shown respect to others. In return, I expect the same respect. If I am not respected, there is no reason for me to stay silent. If we are discussing evidence, let’s do it honestly, with full truth, facts, and accountability.”
