
Greater Noida, April 18: The Greater Noida Authority has adopted a strict stance against illegal construction, sealing several buildings under construction in the villages of Vaidpura and Khodna Kala. This action aims to halt unauthorized construction activities in the notified area.
The Authority’s crackdown has sent shockwaves among those involved in illegal building projects.
According to reports, under the direction of CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar, a team from Work Circle-2, supervised by ACEO Sumit Yadav, arrived at the site with police support to carry out the operation.
A.K. Singh, the General Manager (Projects) of the Authority, stated that multi-story buildings were being constructed without permission on khasra numbers 332, 333, 334, and 615 in Vaidpura. Following a complaint, a team led by Senior Manager Narottam Singh inspected the site and promptly sealed the illegal constructions.
Similarly, in Khodna Kala, construction activities were ongoing without the Authority’s approval on khasra numbers 323, 324, and 194. The Authority’s team also sealed the buildings here in the presence of police. Construction work at both locations has been immediately halted, and warnings have been issued to the involved parties.
ACEO Sumit Yadav emphasized that any form of illegal construction in the notified area of Greater Noida will not be tolerated. He stated that strict actions will continue in such cases. He also urged the public to ensure they obtain complete information regarding the legality of any land or flat before making a purchase.
The Authority has warned that investing in illegal colonies or buildings constructed without permission could jeopardize people’s hard-earned money. Therefore, exercising caution is essential.
