Noida, June 23: Following a tragic fire incident in Lucknow, the administration in Uttar Pradesh is on high alert. In this context, the Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration has initiated inspections of coaching institutes and commercial establishments in the area. During these inspections, significant action was taken against the Om Coaching Center located in Sector 104, Noida, which was sealed immediately.
According to administrative officials, the inspection revealed that the Om Coaching Center was operating without the necessary permits. The institution lacked valid registration and did not possess the mandatory fire No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the fire safety department. Considering the safety of students, the administration decided to take strict action by sealing the coaching center. This operation was a joint effort by the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS), the city magistrate, and the fire department team.
Officials arrived on-site to review documents and assess safety standards. Several critical deficiencies were identified during the inspection, leading to the immediate closure and sealing of the institution. Authorities emphasized that any educational institution or coaching center must operate in accordance with established rules and safety standards, especially those that host large numbers of students daily. Fire safety measures and valid permits are essential in such environments.
Ignoring these regulations can endanger students’ lives. The administration has made it clear that inspections of all coaching centers, schools, and commercial establishments in the district will continue. Institutions lacking the required documentation, registration, or fire NOC will face similar stringent actions. Officials have urged operators to meet all necessary standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
