Gaurav Vallabh Defends Shiv Senas Legacy Amidst Political Shifts

New Delhi, June 23: BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh responded to reports of MPs from the Uddhav Thackeray faction switching sides. He asserted that the true representation of Balasaheb Thackeray’s ideology is currently upheld by the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra’s government. Vallabh emphasized that any Shiv Sainik who believes in Balasaheb’s principles cannot accept an alliance with Congress.

Vallabh noted that only a few leaders remain with Uddhav Thackeray, and they too are aligned with Congress. He accused Uddhav of compromising Balasaheb Thackeray’s core ideology and forming political equations with Congress, which Balasaheb fought against throughout his life. Vallabh mentioned that those still with Uddhav have publicly stated that he is moving towards merging his faction with Congress. If Balasaheb were watching, he would be deeply saddened to see his son forming political partnerships with those he opposed.

He further stated that the Shiv Sena in power is the true heir to Balasaheb Thackeray’s legacy. Those who deviated from Balasaheb’s ideology and aligned with Congress are now politically isolated and out of power.

During this time, Vallabh also launched a sharp attack on the Congress party, criticizing their politics surrounding the NEET-UG examination issue. He condemned the opposition’s actions, stating that the Congress and its leaders have a different understanding of the term ‘NEET.’ He pointed out that these opposition leaders have never even filled out an application for a competitive exam in their lives, yet they claim to guide students on such matters. Passing or failing in exams is no trivial matter; these individuals are attempting to elevate their political status at the expense of students.

Vallabh highlighted that the reality is that while Congress was holding a rally in Karnataka, NEET students were unable to reach their exam centers and missed the opportunity to take the test. At the same time, the Prime Minister chose to remain at Delhi Airport to avoid any disturbances during the examination period. In contrast, the Congress party was obstructing students by organizing rallies. This reflects the true face of the Congress party, which shows no concern for the future and dreams of children.
