New Delhi, August 1: Gaurav Vallabh, spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s recent video where he expressed, “I want to forgive the children. Mistakes happen in childhood.” Vallabh countered comments made by Rahul Gandhi regarding this issue. He also criticized opposition parties for their reactions to independent MP Pappu Yadav wearing saffron attire in the Parliament complex.
Vallabh stated, “Rahul Gandhi has been rejected by millennials and is now being rejected by Generation Z. He has even been dismissed by Gen Alpha and Gen Beta.”
In an interview, Vallabh accused Rahul Gandhi of continuously crossing political boundaries and bringing shame to the nation. He posed a question to Rahul, asking if he visited any students’ homes after 19 major exam paper leaks occurred in Rajasthan between 2018 and 2023. Instead, he noted that the then Education Minister was promoted and made the head of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress.
He emphasized that the paper leak issue is a serious problem and expressed disappointment that Rahul Gandhi did not contribute suggestions during parliamentary discussions. Instead, he claimed, “You are performing monologues and fancy dress events in the Parliament complex. The time wasted during these theatrics is funded by taxpayers.” Vallabh reminded that taxpayers also cover the daily security and comforts of politicians. He urged that serious issues should be discussed during parliamentary sessions, suggesting that Rahul Gandhi prefers political theatrics over addressing critical matters.
Vallabh sarcastically remarked, “You have been rejected by millennials, now by Generation Z, and even by Gen Alpha and Gen Beta, as the youth prioritize merit.” He stressed that sensitive topics should not be politicized.
Criticizing independent MP Pappu Yadav for wearing saffron clothing in the Parliament, Vallabh stated that saffron attire is not meant for fancy dress. He highlighted that the individual wearing saffron has ongoing criminal cases against him. Vallabh pointed out that leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav applauded this act, indicating their attitude towards serious national issues. He accused them of belittling Lord Ram and claimed that this incident has hurt Sanatan traditions. He concluded by asserting that those responsible for this wrongdoing will face consequences.
