Five-Year-Old Girl Kidnapped and Murdered in Hyderabad; Security Guard Suspected

Hyderabad, October 11 (Daily Kiran) : In a deeply distressing incident in Hyderabad, a five-year-old girl was kidnapped and murdered, shocking the local community. Police reported on Sunday that a security guard allegedly abducted the child, who was the daughter of an agricultural scientist, from a gated community in Secunderabad.

The girl, identified as Moses Aureli, was reported missing on Saturday evening while playing outside her villa at ‘Villa Orchids’ in Kowkur, Bollaram. Tragically, her body was discovered in the basement of a clubhouse within the same community, bound and submerged in a water tank.

According to sources, the kidnapper demanded a ransom of 2 million rupees from the girl’s family. Although they were prepared to pay, the suspect cut off communication shortly thereafter. Authorities suspect that the child was murdered after the ransom demand was made. The suspect has been identified as Vikram, a former security guard at the gated community.

Moses disappeared while playing near her home in the Bollaram area of the Malkajgiri Commissionerate. Following a complaint from her parents, police initiated an operation to locate her. Initial investigations revealed that Vikram had been stalking the girl prior to the abduction.

To apprehend Vikram, police formed ten special teams, tracking his last known location to near Secunderabad Railway Station, where his phone was found switched off.

On Saturday night, law enforcement conducted extensive searches in surrounding areas, utilizing drone technology. They examined local lodges and hotels in their quest to piece together the events leading to the child’s tragic death.

Local residents expressed outrage over the incident, demanding swift action from the police to arrest the suspect and ensure he faces severe punishment. Reports indicated that Vikram had been dismissed from his job two days prior due to inappropriate behavior, and it is believed he may have acted out of revenge, as the girl’s grandfather was involved in the complaints that led to his termination.

The community is now grappling with the aftermath of this horrific crime, calling for justice for the young victim.
