
Puducherry, April 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show in Puducherry on Friday, generating significant excitement among the crowd.
Children expressed their joy at attending the event, with one student stating, “We are thrilled to be part of the Prime Minister’s road show.” Another student from Triveni Art College shared her excitement about standing in front of the PM. A schoolboy remarked, “Welcoming the Prime Minister made us feel honored, and this is the first time we are seeing him.”
Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya noted that this was the first road show of its kind in Puducherry, as no political party had conducted such an event here before. Thousands of youth and women participated enthusiastically, filling the streets.
Puducherry’s Home Minister A. Namassivayam declared the road show a great success. He mentioned that the people of Puducherry had been eagerly awaiting PM Modi’s visit for the past week. “Thank you, PM Modi,” he added.
Charles Martin, president of the Jos ALJK (Lachiya Jananayaga Kachi), described the event as spectacular, highlighting that PM Modi had visited Puducherry for the second time in just a few months, despite his busy schedule.
Upon arriving at Puducherry Airport, the Prime Minister received a warm welcome from Chief Minister Rangasamy, senior BJP leaders, and party officials. This welcoming event was part of a well-organized electoral strategy aimed at energizing party workers and attracting voters.
