Ayodhya, August 8: Despite ongoing disputes regarding donations, the faith of devotees at the Shri Ram Temple remains unwavering. The influx of pilgrims continues unabated. Local saints have stated that the controversy surrounding donations has had no impact on the number of visitors, who are consistently arriving to pay their respects at the temple.
In Ayodhya, a significant crowd of devotees, including those worshipping Lord Shiva, can be seen chanting slogans in the streets. Vijay Anand Maharaj shared in an interview that the arrival of devotees has indeed commenced. Many are visiting to offer water during the holy month of Sawan. The crowd is expected to swell further as the Shukla Paksha approaches. The issue of donation theft has not deterred the faithful, and the flow of contributions continues.
Kalki Ram, chairman of the Ramadal Trust, noted that while Sawan comes every year, this year has seen an increased participation from the Sanatan community. Devotees are generously contributing donations. Some anti-social elements attempted to mislead the public regarding the donation thefts at the temple, but the Sanatan community has responded by actively participating. The significance of giving in Sanatan Dharma is profound, and it is only a matter of time before the temple is adorned with gold and silver.
Satyendra Das Vedanti remarked that the month of Sawan is currently underway. The surge of Shiva devotees is evident along the banks of the Sarayu River, at the Nageshwar Nath Temple, and at the Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanumangarhi sites. Meanwhile, the number of donors among the pilgrims is on the rise.
Iqbal Ansari emphasized that Ayodhya is a city of charity and faith. Devotees are arriving to bathe, meditate, and make donations. During the sacred month of Sawan, people are particularly generous with their contributions.
