Bombay High Court to Deliver Verdict on Disha Salians Death Case

Mumbai, September 2: The Bombay High Court is set to announce its verdict on the death case of Disha Salian, the former manager of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, on Wednesday. The court has completed the hearings and reserved its judgment. The ruling is expected at 11 AM on Wednesday.

This case stems from a petition filed by Disha’s father, Satish Salian. He has requested the High Court to register an FIR and initiate a fresh investigation. Salian is urging that the case be handed over to the CBI for thorough scrutiny.

Previously, on August 28, the Bombay High Court concluded the hearings regarding the petition for filing an FIR. The court had reserved its decision on the matter.

In his petition, Satish Salian has made serious allegations, claiming that his daughter was raped and murdered. Based on these claims, he is seeking the registration of a case and a fair investigation.

Disha Salian was Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager. She died on June 8, 2020, after falling from the 14th floor of a building in Malad, Mumbai. At that time, the Mumbai police deemed the incident a suicide and registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR).

However, Disha’s father is not satisfied with this report. He asserts that the incident was not a suicide but a case of murder and gang rape. He has called upon the court to ensure that an FIR is filed and that an agency like the CBI or NIA conducts the investigation.

All eyes are now on the Bombay High Court’s ruling on Wednesday regarding the FIR and the new investigation order.
