The Delhi Government has officially announced teacher recruitment for the much-anticipated CM Shri Schools—a flagship initiative aimed at transforming 75 government schools into future-ready institutions. The recruitment drive is targeted exclusively at existing Delhi government school teachers, with applications accepted via email until 11:59 PM on June 9, 2025.

This initiative is part of the Delhi Budget 2025–26, which earmarked ₹100 crore for the CM Shri School program. These upgraded schools are designed to align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023, focusing on modern pedagogy, digital tools, and tech-integrated classrooms.

Who Can Apply?

Only currently serving government school teachers in Delhi are eligible to apply. Online applications will not be accepted. Instead, candidates must submit their completed applications through email by the specified deadline.

Retired teachers can also apply, provided they have at least five years of teaching experience during their service.

Posts Available for Recruitment

The recruitment will be conducted for the following teaching positions:

  • Primary Teachers (PRT)

  • Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)

  • Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)

  • Other academic-related roles

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted and assessed through an interface process, which may include personal interviews, classroom simulations, or other assessment formats. The schedule is as follows:

  • PRT & TGT Interface: June 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM

  • PGT & Others Interface: June 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM
