The arrested suspect was found in possession of three stolen mobile phones linked to cases registered at the Saket and Maidangarhi police stations.
According to officials, on Tuesday, the Delhi police received a specific tip-off indicating that an active member of the ‘Kaku Gang,’ known as Gopal alias Kaku, would be near Dhobi Ghat, Block-5, South Puri, Delhi, to sell stolen mobile phones.
To apprehend the suspect, a special team was formed under Inspector Anuj Kumar and supervised by Arvind Kumar. Acting swiftly, the police team set up a strategic trap and successfully arrested the suspect before he could escape.
