Delhi BJP Chief Highlights Youth Benefits in Budget 2025-26

New Delhi: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday emphasised the benefits of the Union Budget 2025-26 for the youth and the middle class, particularly highlighting tax reliefs on smartphones.

Speaking from the Delhi BJP state office, Sachdeva noted that the budget, presented under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is the government’s 13th proposal and strongly supports youth development.

He said, “Budget 2026, which promotes the construction sector, tourism, pilgrimage site development, and medical tourism, will provide new opportunities for young India.”

Sachdeva highlighted that this is the first budget prepared in the new central government office complex, Kartavya Bhavan, in Delhi, reflecting the government’s commitment to the public.

He added that the government has accelerated the development of pilgrimage sites by offering security cover for loans taken by private builders, which will benefit the construction industry and boost building activities in Delhi and other urban areas.

The budget also aims to strengthen healthcare services for senior citizens by promoting medical tourism, which is expected to generate thousands of jobs in the healthcare sector.

Further, by encouraging the growth of animation, visual effects, gaming, and comics industries, the budget is set to energise millions of professionals with new employment opportunities.

Sachdeva remarked that the expansion of the national hotel industry, development of pilgrimage sites, and cultural preservation will create thousands of new jobs.

He welcomed the new Income Tax Act announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, which will come into effect from 1 April 2026. The extension of the filing deadline for non-audit income tax returns will provide significant relief to ordinary taxpayers.
