New Delhi, June 27: Congress MP Manoj Kumar has raised pointed questions regarding the Ram Temple donation issue, targeting the government and related institutions. He has called for an investigation into the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
Speaking to a news agency, Kumar stated that the resignations of Trust Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Anil Mishra will not resolve the matter. He believes these resignations are attempts to evade responsibility. Strict action should be taken against all individuals involved in the alleged irregularities. Some are trying to divert attention by resigning, but this will not suffice.
Kumar also made serious allegations against the government concerning the Ram Temple donations. He directly questioned the Prime Minister, stating that if he is a devotee of Lord Ram, he should address the alleged irregularities associated with the temple. He accused the government of misleading the public in the name of religious sentiments and emphasized the need for accountability in this matter.
Additionally, Kumar commented on India’s stance on Gaza and former Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s article. He highlighted the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, noting significant civilian casualties and the deaths of children, which the world has witnessed. He praised Gandhi for her writings on such issues, stating that she consistently brings the public’s voice to the forefront.
In her article, Sonia Gandhi alleged that India has shifted from its traditional stance on Palestinian rights to prioritize closer relations with Israel. She expressed that India’s current policy on Gaza raises questions about its foreign policy.
Gandhi pointed out that the ongoing conflict in Gaza has caused extensive devastation. Citing a UN report, she mentioned that the situation is dire, with over 20,000 children reported dead and more than 44,000 injured.
On another question related to security and military operations, Kumar referenced “Operation Sindoor,” raising concerns about the delay in releasing the names of six soldiers who were martyred. He questioned how long it would take for justice to be served and what actions have been taken against the terrorists responsible for the attacks. The families of the victims are still waiting for justice, and clarity on this issue is essential.
