CM Yogi Meets PM Modi, Emphasises New Energy for UP’s Development

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Delhi on Monday and held a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed several important issues.

The Prime Minister’s Office shared pictures of the meeting on social media, showing CM Yogi presenting a replica of the Ram Temple to PM Modi.

This was the first meeting between CM Yogi and PM Modi in the new year and lasted for about an hour. There has been speculation that the discussion included topics such as the expansion of the state cabinet, though no official statement has been released on this matter. According to BJP sources, the meeting was primarily a courtesy visit.

After the meeting, CM Yogi posted on the social media platform X, expressing that he received valuable guidance from PM Modi. He wrote, “Today in New Delhi, I had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and received his guidance. Your leadership always inspires new energy to accelerate the development journey of ‘New Uttar Pradesh.’ Heartfelt thanks to the Prime Minister for his precious time.”

It is also reported that CM Yogi is scheduled to meet BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda, along with the party’s working president Nitin Nabin. Additionally, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak are also visiting the national capital.

Earlier, CM Yogi paid tribute to former Rajasthan Governor and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh on his birth anniversary. Posting on X, he said, “On the occasion of the birth anniversary of revered ‘Babuji,’ Padma Vibhushan awardee and former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh, I paid homage by offering flowers at his portrait in Lucknow today. His tenure will always be remembered for good governance, development, and advancing the nationalist mission. He continuously linked his name with the welfare of Uttar Pradesh. Salutations to his sacred memories.”
